Mezcal Vago, a producer of alcoholic beverage called mezcal, has formed a partnership with The Henry Wine Group to distribute its products in California.
Mezcal is the oldest distilled spirit in the Americas that is produced from hand-harvested agaves after aging for up to 20 years.
The Henry Wine Group is a distributor of wines and spirits based in Benicia, California.
Currently, six specialty spirits from Mezcal Vago including Espadin, Elote, Cuixe, Mexicano, Tobalá en Barro, and Ensamble en Barro are available through The Henry Wine Group.
Mezcal Vago is planning to launch its products at events in New York, Washington and California in the near future.
Mezcal Vago co-founder Judah Kuper said, "This partnership with The Henry Wine Group will provide exposure to some amazing places in California. Their knowledge and conviction for excellence is exactly what we were looking for and we are thrilled to begin this journey with them on the West Coast."
