Founded in 1992, Reisopack S.L. is specialised in packaging solutions for the horticultural distribution sector.
It is already a long time since the company’s success with its very first semi-automatic pallet strapping machine, which sold over 5,000 units, mainly in Spain and the Netherlands. Its products are currently distributed worldwide in all five continents.
One of the firm’s machines is the recently launched Reisopack 2901, with a fully automatic system able to process fifty pallets per hour with four corner boards (standard measures; slats from 35x35 mm) and three straps.
“Strapping is a key priority in transport to ensure that the load arrives to its destination in perfect conditions,” explains Óscar Saldaña, manager of Reisopack. “Machine strapping guarantees that the tension is adjusted correctly thanks to its high-tension clamp system.”
The machine includes an innovative strapping material which uses polyester instead of polypropylene. “The polyester strip is not as elastic as polypropylene and holds tension better,” he affirms.
Reisopack aims to continue growing in the horticultural sector in the short and long term, taking into account that “there are many developing countries where they still work manually when it comes to strapping, and where very often goods do not make it to their destination in perfect conditions. Morocco, Latin America and South America are markets with plenty of potential, as well as the countries in Eastern Europe, like Russia or Belarus,” stated Óscar Saldaña.
“We seek to expand in all five continents, which is why Fruit Logistica gives us one of the best opportunities every year to introduce our products to producers and distributors from all over the world.”
