Tetra Pak, a Switzerland-based provider of food processing and packaging solutions, has introduced a latest version of Tetra Therm Aseptic Flex.
The Tetra Therm Aseptic Flex is an aseptic processing unit for indirect UHT treatment of dairy and other food products.
This processing unit features a sensor monitored clean-in-place solution - IntelliCIP 2.0* - which carries out cleaning based on actual need rather than at pre-set times, which will in turn increase the production up-time.
The pre-sterilization and hibernation phases have also been modified in the latest Tetra Therm Aseptic Flex, the company claims.
Tetra Pak Dairy & Beverage Systems business manager Bengt Eliasson said, "Tetra Therm Aseptic Flex offers dairy producers the highest levels of UHT performance at the lowest total cost and environmental impact, backed by Tetra Pak's world-class knowledge and technical support."
Available as a stand-alone piece of equipment, or as part of an integrated Tetra Pak line solution, Tetra Therm Aseptic Flex is suitable for processing products including milk, flavored milk, cream, yoghurt drinks, buffalo milk and formulated dairy products, as well as juice, soy milk, tea and coffee.
