Unified Grocers, the Los Angeles-based retailer-owned cooperative, has promoted Dan Murphy to the new position of executive vice president, fresh programs and manufacturing.
Murphy, who joined Unified in 2000, was formerly senior vice president, fresh programs and manufacturing. In his new role he will continue to oversee the company’s meat, produce, service deli and manufacturing divisions.
