Roveg have introduced a new retail concept under the name Puro Aromo for fresh herbs, cress and other spices. During a thorough investigation between supermarkets and consumers different issues were highlighted. Consumers were put off by the uncertainty of how to get the most value from the product and research showed there needed to be clearer ideas and suggestions, for example a recipe stated; "add two sprigs of thyme." People had to buy 20 grams for 5 or 6 sprigs so there would always be some left which usually ended up in the fridge and then thrown into the rubbish bin. This waste is unwanted, nobody likes this, so the product needed to be used as much as possible with the least chance of wastage.

Puro Aromo found the best way to do this is to offer suggestions on the packaging: "What shall we do with the rest?" Here come other ideas and suggestions for how to use the rest of the product. Each herb can be easily used during the week such as; with potatoes, rice or pasta. Clearly and simply explained the user can be inspired. Peppers, ginger, lemon grass and cress are all products which can be used in this concept and this overall concept is important for supermarkets as it makes the difference.

A number of improvements were made to the presentation so the name is visible from 3 meters away. The packaging always stands upright so light is not reflected if located in a cooling cabinet. Slow movers can be positioned transversely so they only take up 25% of the space saving presentation space. Together the packages form a recognisable block, visible from a distance and strengthening their appeal. All products are positioned to inspire consumers under the Puro Aromo label, cress, for example, is one such product already gaining prominence.
