The Date Night Dinner Menu & Recipes eBook launched this week to guide consumers through a gourmet dinner that combines the flavours of Stemilt apples and pears with the best savory ingredients. Stemilt is promoting this free download to consumers through its website and social channels, including Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.
“This new eBook was created in response to consumer feedback for more recipes featuring our fresh fruits. It’s a way to inspire foodies and fruit enthusiasts to utilize our fruits, like Piñata apples, in new ways, and also to help people create a memorable dinner for Valentine’s Day or any special occasion,” said Shales.
Farley, a culinary school graduate turned food photographer and blogger, was selected by Stemilt as the winner of its #FreshBloggers contest this past fall. She has been partnering with the company ever since to create new recipes centred on Stemilt fruits.
In the new eBook, Stemilt shares a dinner menu and four exclusive recipes from Farley, each inspired by a Stemilt apple or pear variety. Each recipe has a “Jen Says” tip that offers her suggestion for preparing the gourmet recipe, or an explanation for why a certain flavour combination works so well.
According to Shales, freebies like this new eBook are part of Stemilt’s ongoing marketing efforts to engage directly with consumers on the platforms they use most.
