Whole Foods Market MTom Yom Soup id-Atlantic Region is recalling Tom Yom Soup because it contains milk, an undeclared allergen.

The recalled soup was sold with a Whole Foods Market scale label reading “Tom Yom Soup” with a UPC of <0 00000 60146 7> in 24 ounce plastic containers with a “use by” date of 4/8/2014, which is noted on the scale label.

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

The soup was distributed to Whole Foods Market stores in Kentucky, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia, Washington D.C. and New Jersey (Princeton and Marlton stores only).

To date, no illnesses have been reported.

Signage is posted in Whole Foods Market Mid-Atlantic stores that carried the product to notify customers of this recall. Customers who have purchased this product should discard it, and may bring in their receipt for a full refund. Consumers with questions may call 512-477-5566, extension 20060, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central Daylight Time.
