Bevyz, a Malta-based manufacturer of multi-drink systems, will form a distribution partnership with kitchen electrics manufacturer Cuisinart.
Under the partnership, Cuisinart will market and sell the Cuisinart powered by Bevyz's Multi-Drink System and related accessories in North America.
Equipped with sensors that activate the precision dispensing mechanism, the Multi-Drink System will create hot or iced tea, hot chocolate, coffee, juice, sodas, cocktails, soups, sparkling water, among others.
Cuisinart's parent company Conair Corporation president Ron Diamond said that at-home beverage makers have been consistently gaining in popularity and market share over the past several years, and the introduction of this product represents a significant leap forward in the technology and convenience available in the category.
Bevyz founder and CEO Edouard Sterngold said, "Cuisinart has the experience and proficiency to grow and maintain sales in this category, and by partnering with them, we are confident that we will share in the success of one of the country's most respected and trusted housewares brands."
The other terms and conditions of the licensing agreement were not revealed.
