US-based Helm’s Brewing has increased its production capacity with the addition of two 30-barrel fermenters.
The production capacity has increased to 2,000 barrels annually from the current 750 barrels, reports brewbound.com.
Helm's Brewing general manager Matt Johnson said that this expansion is a great opportunity for the company to keep up with the demand of Helm's beer in San Diego, and will also give the company the opportunity to expand its product to all of Southern California.
"This expansion will allow us to produce more than double what we were manufacturing before," added Johnson.
Meanwhile, the company has entered into an agreement with Statewide Distribution, as well as launched 22oz bottles in retail locations such as BevMo.
Helm's Brewing has also installed a 15-barrel fermenter in November 2013.
Founded in 2012, the company is growing its business with beers such as Hop the RIPA, Wicked as Sin and Beeruccino.
