AccuBar, a beverage management system in the US, is set to offer its iWineLists technology to Culinary Institute of America (CIA)'s restaurant in New York.
The move follows the earlier partnership between CIA and AccuBar to put iWineLists into The Bocuse Restaurant at the institute.
By using the iWineLists technology, American Bounty - a farm-to-table restaurant on the CIA campus - will display its first-class list of primarily American wines on iPad tablets.
The diners can sort by wine type, varietal, price and many other criteria with the electronic wine list, as well as getting tasting notes and information about the wines.
CIA Beverage Operations manager Noelle Guagliardo said that the institute has witnessed a rise in wine sales over the same period years prior.
"Customers seem to like the list and are comfortable with it," added Guagliardo.
The customers can either connect the iWineLists to AccuBar's beverage inventory management system, or use it as a standalone system.
