Niehaus, who has more than 26 years of distilled spirits industry experience in national account management, operations and procurements, will be responsible for managing key distilled spirits accounts in North America and also will focus on the growing craft spirits and beer industries. In addition, he will handle day-to-day sales functions and the development of new accounts in the Midwestern United States.

Prior to joining Saxco International, Niehaus was employed as national account manager of distilled spirits for Amcor Rigid Plastics. Before that, he was a member of the Jim Beam organization serving in packaging procurement operations, production planning, operations, bottling and package project management.
He additionally worked for Sazerac in various management capacities, including the barrel warehouse department, bottling small batch bourbon, processing and procurement packaging. His job responsibilities at Sazerac embraced glass and PET bottles, closures, labels, cartons, barrels, grain and bulk liquid. He and his wife, Nicole, have five children and reside in Cincinnati, OH.
