e Walker Brewing has launched its 805 craft beer in 12oz aluminum cans supplied by packaging company Ball.Firestone Walker's 805 signature ale in recyclable Ball cans will be available at locations across California's Central Coast beginning soon.
Ball North America Metal Beverage Packaging sales vice president Bruce Doelling said, "Firestone Walker and other craft brewers continue to discover the inherent benefits of aluminum cans, including their ability to deliver the highest quality product to consumers by blocking out 100 percent of light and oxygen."
According to Ball, the cans are made with an average of over 60% recycled aluminum and are a better fit with sustainability minded craft beer consumers.
Founded in 1996, Firestone Walker Brewing produces beers. It offers seasonal beers, and barrel aged beers.
