ldings Ltd confirmed yesterday in a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange that V. Shashikanth has resigned from his position as managing director of the company. The announcement comes as a major surprise, as Shashikanth only took on the role in August 2013 when he replaced Harish Bhat.
The Indian company also said that Shashikanth resigned from position as a board director.
When he originally replaced Bhat, it was reported that the 52-year-old Shashikanth had agreed to a three-year contract. Shashikanth worked for the United Breweries group for 22 years.
