Black Box Wines, a subsidiary of the US-based Constellation Brands, has expanded its wine range with the launch of new 2013 California Pinot Noir.
The new California Pinot Noir has aromas of strawberry, bing cherry, and a hint of rose petal with notes of toasty oak, claims Black Box.
Black Box Wines marketing director Kim Moore said Pinot Noir is the third largest red varietal in table wine and is growing at a double-digit rate.
"It's been our mission to satisfy our consumers' palates and this fruit-expressive offering will add greater diversity to the Black Box portfolio," added Moore.
Priced at a suggested retail price of $24.99, 2013 California Pinot Noir is available across the nation.
Black Box offers its wines in 3l box format and 500ml Tetra Pak containers at present.
The company's portfolio includes Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Shiraz, Pinot Noir, Red Elegance blend, Pinot Grigio and Riesling.
