US-based Foolproof Brewing has introduced its imperial IPA King of the Yahd in four-packs of 12oz cans in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.
Brewed with a combination of pilsener and marris otter malts as well as locally grown rye and spelt, the new King of the Yahd is a 9.5% alcohol imperial IPA
The 2014 edition of King is made with hops, including Zythos, Columbus, Amarillo, and Citra.
Foolproof Brewing president and founder Nick Garrison said, "There aren't a lot of imperial IPAs available in cans, so we expect this beer to be a big hit in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut this summer."
The company's beers are distributed in Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts by C&C Distributors, Northeast Beverage and Massachusetts Beverage Alliance, respectively.
The Massachusetts Beverage Alliance comprises Atlas Distributing, Burke Distributing, Colonial Wholesale Beverage, Commercial Distributing, and Merrimack Valley Distributing.
