PicoBrew ships Zymatic beer brewing appliance

PicoBrew, creator of the revolutionary Zymatic automatic all-grain beer brewing appliance, has begun shipping units to customers.

In May, several products were delivered to local Washington customers and this week additional units have shipped to out-of-state customers.

Early local customers have already brewed, fermented and enjoyed PicoBrew's award-winning Party Porter, the ingredient kit for which is included with the first 100 Zymatic® units. Early Kickstarter backers have already started creating custom beers by utilizing exclusive access to the companion PicoBrew.com service, which works in conjunction with the devices.

"The PicoBrew team is automating the process of making award- winning beer so that anyone can make it. That's amazing," said Eric Lang, one of the company's first Kickstarter backers. "I tried brewing the old-fashioned way with large pots of boiling wort and I could not come close to the quality of beer that I can make with my Zymatic®. And with a fraction of the effort!"

Up until this point, PicoBrew has been hand-assembling Zymatic® units as it pioneers the production process for this complex appliance. Next week, PicoBrew expects to achieve another milestone as they start their production assembly line.

PicoBrew units continue to be available at special pre-order discount pricing, starting at $1699 through August 2014.
