Brenntag has invested in an Ultra High Temperature (UHT) laboratory scale production at its application laboratory in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, due to the growing demand the company said that it sees for dairy and UHT products in the country. UHT technology is suitable for dairy products such as fresh milk, recombined milk, fermented milk drinks, formulated dairy products as well as other applications such as cream, juice, soy milk, sauces, tea and coffee.
“The UHT technology enables us to provide more value added services to both customers and suppliers by reducing the product development and innovation time with pilot trials prior to full production,” said Henri Nejade, president & CEO, Brenntag Asia Pacific. “It further helps us to drive trends and concepts with proactive projects for new ingredients and also for a variety of ingredients from our portfolio with pilot scale prototype for customers to evaluate.
