US-based Blue Mountain Brewery has bought South Street Brewery, in a move to expand its existing portfolio with the introduction of new range of beers.

The South Street Brewery's restaurant will be reopened by mid-September, following the completion of certain renovations.

Works under the modernization include revamping the menu and rebranding the South Street's beer range.

Additionally, the company will distribute South Street's beer products, under a partnership with its existing distribution partners.

Blue Mountain Brewery produces all its ales and lagers onsite on a 15 x 30 barrel Premier Stainless brewing system.

The company has the capacity to produce 80,000 gallons of beer annually, at present.
