According to the RoCrimeasselkhoznadzor Office for the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, the supply of all kinds of food from Ukraine to Crimea is implemented in full and without any delays from the Russian side; however, about 3% of Ukrainian vegetable exports do not meet the necessary safety requirements and must be returned to the territory of the neighbouring state.

To be precise, the Crimean checkpoints blocked the entry of 11 tonnes of vegetables and fruits that did not meet the necessary quality and safety requirements for consumption, including 3.7 tonnes of apricots, 2.4 tonnes of oranges and 3 tonnes of cabbage.

Furthermore, the territory of the republic blocked 2 tonnes of Ukrainian potatoes, which, as previously reported, contained a dangerous quarantine pest, the golden potato cyst nematode.
