Indian multi-business conglomerate ITC has announced plans to expand its presence to new business segments including beverage and dairy products.
The move forms a part of the company's strategy to build its brand for the next 100 years.
As part of the expansion, the company will produce fruit juices, tea, coffee, chocolate and other dairy products.
ITC chairman Y C Deveshwar told the Hindu Business Line, "We are building the ITC of tomorrow and will enter into new segments like fruit juices, tea, coffee, chocolates and dairy products."
Initially, the company will have production operations at a single factory, with plans to further expand with new factories.
