ablishment Burnside Brewing has introduced its Couch Select Lager in new cans supplied by British beverage can manufacturer Rexam.The Couch Select Lager is available in Rexam 12oz cans, which are light-weight and provide complete protection from light and oxygen, preserving the beer's freshness, Rexam claims.
It is made with quality pilsner malt, American Tettnang hops and fermented with the Bohemian lager yeast strain.
Burnside Brewing owner and manager Jay Gilbert said that the company has a collection of old cans in its pub that became the inspiration for the Burnside Couch Select's label design.
"Through our partnership with Rexam, we have a classic, retro-looking package that will attract customers," added Gilbert.
Currently, Couch Select Lager in cans is available at New Seasons Markets, Whole Foods and many other independent retailers across Oregon, with plans for continued West Coast expansion.
