Chilled coffee and grown-up soft drink brand Emmi CAFFÈ LATTE is launching Mr Big, a larger 370ml version of its popular Cappuccino drink.
After launching Mr Big in Switzerland and Austria in 2013 and experiencing success, Emmi made the decision to launch the product for the UK market, and is anticipating similar success.
The brand’s performance in other markets shows it is bringing new consumers to the category, with incremental sales against the rest of the range, rather than taking sales from the 230ml cup.
Designed for those looking for more of a caffeine pick-me-up, the new Mr Big aims to be a hit with existing Emmi CAFFÈ LATTE fans who are looking to make their coffee last longer, as well as new converts to the brand in the chilled aisle.
The 370ml version has been designed to appeal predominantly to a male consumer, with a larger format, which in turn offers a higher caffeine content, as the brand attempts to attract new shoppers.
Made using freshly brewed Arabica coffee, the freshest Swiss milk and cocoa powder, Mr Big provides a classic cappuccino taste.
It is positioned as an on-the-go refreshment and alternative to coffee-shop bought coffee, which can be enjoyed any time of the day, whether as an afternoon treat or drink to be enjoyed with friends outdoors this summer.
