Barny, the bear-shaped sponge snack by Mondelēz International, will be returning to the small screen this month.
The premise of the ad is that Barny fuels small discoveries and aims to provide mums with information on the product specifics and ingredients, whilst taking them on an adventure in an imaginary world.
The ad created by Mcgarrybowen, was directed by Eli Sverdlov and brought to life by designers and animators at Gravity.
The 30” ad will be on TV and VOD until 23rd August alongside top TV shows and will be seen by six million people.
The launch of Barny in 2013 was widely supported in all major retailers, and Barny is now available to buy nationwide.
The bear-shaped sponge snack has a hidden centre that provides ‘a little discovery in every bite’.
Each snack comes in an individually wrapped portion, contains no artificial colours or preservatives and is baked with ingredients including wheat flour, milk, chocolate, eggs and sugar.
Barny is available in a 150g multipack RRP £1.69, in four variants – chocolate, milk and the newly launched Strawberry and Apple.
A 30g format was also launched in May for the convenience channel and on-the-go snacking.
