In 2013 it posted sales of £20m.According to Coveris, the deal supports and strengthens its UK flexibles offer through “advanced processes and technologies in addition to providing access to new customer and product markets”.
A spokesperson for Coveris told Packaging News Learoyd is highly advanced in the application of fixed colour management under its Accutone brand, which offers benefits in reducing waste, increasing productivity and reducing costs.
Coveris hopes to expand in to ambient food sectors such as bakery, morning goods and confectionary – for both brand owners and private label retail.
