The project will expand the facility’s fiber storage capacity and upgrade the dryer section, coater and stock cleaning areas of the West Monroe paper mill.
Tony Hobson, vice president and resident manager, praised the Louisiana Economic Development association: “We weighed many factors in our decision to further invest in the West Monroe Mill. The state’s pro-business environment and the exceptional workforce made a significant impact.”
Graphic Packaging said it will retain 1,340 employees at its three Louisiana sites.
