Gluten-free food producer Orgran has added two new options to its breakfast cereal range, Quinoa Puffs and Quinoa Flakes.

Quinoa Puffs are described as kid-friendly and score a 4.5 star rating on the Federal Government’s health star rating system. The cereal is free from gluten, wheat, egg, dairy and yeast. Orgran says that the puffs go well with milk or a dairy-free alternative and fruit if desired.

The Quinoa Flakes are low in fat and sugar. The cereal is also gluten, wheat, egg, dairy and yeast free. Both cereals are vegan-friendly.

Orgran was established in Australia in 1985. The company specialises in creating gluten-free and allergen-free foods such as cereals, biscuits, pasta and snacks. Today Orgran produces the largest offering of allergen-free and gluten-free foods in Australia. The company has also built the world’s largest allergen-free manufacturing site and exports to 60 countries worldwide including South Africa, Cyprus and Japan.

Orgran’s new Quinoa Puffs and Quinoa Flake cereals will be available from independent supermarkets and health food stores from September 2015. The recommended retail price is $5.99 for the Quinoa Puffs and $6.58 for the Quinoa Flakes.
