Label Technology, Inc., San Joaquin Valley, Calif., completed the transfer of its flexible packaging operations to a 90,000-square-foot manufacturing location down the street from the current building in Merced, Calif. The existing 60,000-square-foot location will continue to house all pressure-sensitive label operations as well as administration, sales, graphics and customer service.

“I am extremely excited to announce that we have completed the move into our state-of-the-art flexible packaging production facility,” says David Bankson, president and CEO. “This building gives us the capacity to continue to grow in addition to supporting our ongoing GMP and lean programs. Our team has done a tremendous job of designing and implementing an outstanding and very impressive facility.”

The building is fully GMP compliant and received an outstanding score (940 out of a possible 1,000) under the requirements of AIB International’s Consolidated Standards for Food Contact Packaging Manufacturing Facilities.

The new location is also outfitted with Label Technology’s flexible packaging presses, lamination systems and pouch-making production lines, and will house an extensive flexible packaging raw material inventory.
