Who doesn’t want the best of both worlds in one newly designed package? Sunlight International is shipping red and green grapes in new Pretty Lady bi-color fixed weight bags now until December.

After an extremely successful bi-color bag was offered last year, the exclusive Pretty Lady bi-colored stand up pouch bags are available for the 2015 season upon request. This newly designed bag has many advantages, including a more durable zipper top that helps protect the product from the field to the refrigerator, positive merchandising benefits due to the fixed weight, and features that allow consumers to simply grab-n-go. Nick Dulcich, President of Sunlight International, explains that because the bi-color bag is a fixed weight and has one UPC code, retailers can easily run specials on this unique item and increase overall sales.

“I believe the stand up bag is versatile and markets grapes better than any other package that is currently available,” said Dulcich. “With this product, we can help increase sales by providing a unique product and it can save the retailer money on labor at the store level.”

Originally developed to market to kids and to move away from clamshell packaging, “The Incredible Grape Pumpkin Patch” bi-color bag was such a hit in 2014, that a bi-color holiday bag was requested, followed by another request for a Pretty Lady bi-color bag for the 2015 season. The secret behind the popularity is the many advantages this unique product offers the retailer and consumer.

A new addition to all Sunlight International packaging is the Non-GMO label that lets the customer know that even though these grapes are jumbo in size and extra sweet and crispy, they are not a genetically modified product. Beginning in January, Sunlight International officially became certified by the Non-GMO Project and uses this logo on multiple bags including the bi-color fixed weight.
