Bonduelle USA is recalling close to 9,335 cases of frozen corn due to possible Listeria monocytogenes, according to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
The products associated with the recall include 16oz Wylwood Super Sweet Whole Kernel Corn, 16oz Market Basket Cut Corn, 40oz Bountiful Harvest Whole Kernel Cut Corn and 2.5lbs West Creek Frozen Vegetables Cut Corn.
All the recalled products with Best By date June 2017 were distributed to stores across New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Massachusetts, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, Mississippi and Louisiana.

Consumption of the products contaminated with Listeria may cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.
No illnesses have been reported due to the consumption of the recalled product.
Customers who have bought the recalled products have been advised not to consume them and instead discard.
