The Cathedral City Selections Mini Bag contains five individually wrapped 12g pieces of the Nation's favourite branded cheddar¹ including Mature, Extra Mature and Vintage variants2.

The new PMP carries an attractive £1 price mark and is an addition to the plain pack Mini Bag launched in June 2015. The new PMP has been introduced to deliver a clear and compelling price point to consumers whilst enabling convenience retailers to compete effectively on price.

The Cathedral City Selections Mini Bag offers a solution for top-up shop and on-the-go snacking missions in Convenience, meeting the increasing demand for adult cheese snacks which has seen the sector grow by 0.5% YoY3. Cathedral City adult snacks continue to outperform the market experiencing volume growth of 9.7%3.

Elaine McCague, Cathedral City Marketing Manager said: "We are delighted to be launching a new price-marked version of our recent Cathedral City Selections Mini Bag NPD. The new PMP means that convenience retailers are able to offer reassuring and competitive pricing to shoppers with a clear standout on shelf. The Cathedral City Selections brand is now worth £3.4m3 and is one of the biggest brands in adult cheese snacking, bought by 600k households - a 10% growth in penetration vs last year1. Sales of Cathedral City Selections Mini Bag continue to build momentum from launch in June 2015. The total Cathedral City brand is now worth £282m with volume growth of +6.7% YoY3.

The new Cathedral City Selections Mini Bag PMP has agreed listings in Tesco Express stores as well as a number of Symbol retailers and Cash & Carry fascias.
