Tasmanian salmon producer Tassal is one of Australia’s most innovative companies. The proof is in its latest product launches.
Tassal has launched a innovative range of snacks that combines salmon with other foods.
At the same time, in the breakfast category, Tassal is challenging bacon with its own healthy salmon alternative, a ‘salmon rasher’.
The snacks range requires no heating or refrigeration and consists of the following options:
Salmon and Beans
Salmon and Quinoa
Salmon and Rice
Each choice includes Tassal’s Tasmanian Atlantic Salmon and comes with a fork for convenience.
The snacking range is available now from Coles supermarkets with a recommended retail price of $4.29 per 185g serving.
At the same time as launching the new snacks range, Tassal has launched its new ‘Salmon Rashers’ designed for breakfast.
The rashers are ideal for pan-frying and are smoked in Beechwood chips for a smoky flavour.
Whilst the salmon is suited for breakfast Tassal says that it can also be used as part of a salad, pasta or sandwiches.
Tassal’s salmon rashers are available now from Coles and Woolworths with a recommended retail price of $9.99 per 200g serving.
