The food safety month, being observed by Equinox Labs since April 7, has completed its three weeks. The initiative pointed out a positive change in the mindset of people with respect to food safety.
The month is focussed on raising awareness among food businesses through the event which included puzzles, quizzes, webinars, seminars, free consultation, selfie videos, lunches with the senior management and most importantly a certificate of participation. The main objective of the campaign is to engage and make people aware about food safety and hygiene best practices.
Ashwin Bhadri, CEO, Equinox Labs, says, “A drastic change is evident in the mindset of people with respect to food safety as compared to the early years which has undoubtedly played a major role in rising food businesses in India and this initiative of food safety month will help people in being more healthy, safe and productive in their lives.”
Recently, Bhadri delivered a presentation on 'Insights into India’s Latest Food Safety Act – FSSAI' on April 13, 2016, during an International Food Safety and Supply Conference at Singapore Expo.
