UK-based discount supermarket chain Heron Foods has recalled Kellogg's Special K Biscuit Moments Cioccolato packs sold in its outlets over concerns that potential allergens are not clearly indicated on non-English labels.
The labels on Special K Biscuit Moments Cioccolato packs, each containing five 25g bars, are in Italian.
The company has recalled the products as the label does not also warn consumers of potential allergens such as soya, milk and wheat.
The UK's Food Standards Agency has urged people not to consume the bars and return them for a full refund.
Sold by Heron Foods, the boxes come with the best before dates between 9 July and 14 July.
Other products of Kellogg's are not impacted by this recall.
Discount supermarket chain Heron Foods has contacted allergy support organisations to inform their members about the recall. It has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers in which the company claimed that it is recalling the product as a precautionary measure.
Heron Foods has around 240 outlets across the north of England and the Midlands.
The latest recall comes after Kellogg's recalled 36,000 packs of its Special K Red Berries cereal in the UK due to concerns over presence of glass pieces.
