Marsee Foods, Inc. dba Marsee Baking is voluntarily recalling chocolate chip, ginger spice, and oatmeal raisin cookies sold at Café Yumm!restaurants.

The cookies may contain undeclared peanuts. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

The cookies are safe to consume unless you have a peanut allergy or sensitivity. No allergic reactions have been reported to date.

The cookies subject to recall were sold at Café Yumm! restaurants in Oregon and Washington between August 6, 2018 and August 15, 2018. The cookies are prepared as both a chocolate-dipped and undipped version and are served on a plate for dine-in restaurant guests or offered in a pastry bag for take-out orders. The affected cookies are not labeled and do not bear any lot codes.

The voluntary recall was initiated after discovering peanuts in a chocolate chip cookie before it was served. The voluntary recall includes all cookies in the event other batches and flavors may contain peanuts.

This recall is being made with the knowledge of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Anyone who has purchased affected product and who has a sensitivity or allergy to peanuts is urged not to consume and should return the cookies to the place of purchase for a full refund.
