The jam is made with 100 per cent Hoogstraten strawberries. Moreover, the recipe is based on a formula of 60 per cent fruit. Regular jams are usually made with 50 per cent fruit.
“For 2016, an exclusive cooperation was entered into with Delhaize. Our strawberry jam has been on sale here since the start of June, and will appear in the brochure in week 29. For now the jam is first launched on the Belgian market, but nothing rules out an expansion of the market in future. The strawberry jam is the first product of the new cooperation with RDVP, but more might follow.”
