The Brazilian grape export season will start in September and since last year, a new variety is exported from the company GVS: the Arra 15, a white seedless grape.
GVS Company produces and exports grapes from Brazil. This year, its season will start in week 39, in September, and the company expect a total volume of 180 containers of seedless grapes to be exported. The company cultivates the red grape variety Crimson, the black varieties Sable and Midnight and the white varieties Sugraone, Thompson and Arra 15.
The Arra 15 is a new variety for GVS. It is a white seedless grape, with large, elongated and particularly crunchy grains. It has a bright green colour and its flavour has an excellent balance between sweet and sour. Beyond that, GVS Company is always testing new varieties, seeking to increase their production chain and to offer more options of varieties for their customers.
Most GVS customers are from Europe, so that is where the largest volume will be exported. The company also usually makes shipments to the United States and Canada. It’s main competitors are Greece and Spain.
