According to Russian local government, Chinese enterprise planned to invest about 0.2 billion US dollars to farm scallop, sea cucumber and mussel in Russian coastal region.

According to He Zhenwei, secretary-general of China Overseas Development Association, the new marine farms was set to operate in May 2017, which would provide thousands of job opportunities then.

He Zhenwei said, “the coasts enjoy most advantageous conditions for investment, especially for aquaculture. Our planned investment is up to 0.2 billion US dollars.”

Investors also stated that the experimental period regarding the project would last around 3 years before it’s finally put into full operation. It’s also known that Dalian Wenlian Aquaculture Co., Ltd would become one of the important cooperators.

Chinese investors also show great interests in investing local housing and public utilities, and it’s said that they were considering feasible cooperation program at present.
