According to the provisions of “Food Safety Law of the People's Republic of China”, approved by evaluation committee for national food safety standards, the National Health and Family Planning Commission of PRC, Ministry of Agriculture, China Food and Drug Administration jointly issued 107 national food safety standards including the “National food safety standard Maximum residue limits for pesticides in food” (GB 2763-2016) etc. In addition to GB 2763-2016, 106 pesticide detection standards also were included.
China Food and Drug Administration is soliciting public opinions on “Detailed rules for filing work of health food (2017 edition)” (exposure draft) In order to fully implement the requirements of the Food Safety Law of the People's Republic of China on the administration of health food filing, according to the relevant provisions of the “Administrative measures for the registration and filling of health food”, the China Food and Drug Administration has studied and drafted the “Detailed rules for filing work of health food (2017 edition)” (exposure draft) and solicit public opinions, the deadline of soliciting public opinions is February 28, 2017.
