Also recalled is Chic-a-Peas, Baked Crunchy Chickpeas, Fresh Salsa in 2.0 oz (57g) packages, with Best By Date of 12/27/2017, UPC number 853404004071, and Lot Code 0877. Finally, Chic-a-Peas, Baked Crunchy Chickpeas, Falafel in 2.0 oz (57g) packages is recalled, with Best By Date of 12/28/2017, UPC number 853404004026, and Lot Code 0897.
If you purchased these products, do not eat them. Discard them in a sealed or double bagged package or a secure garbage can, or take them back to the store where you bought them for a refund. Clean out your pantry or wherever you stored this item with a mild bleach solution.
If you ate these products, watch yourself for the symptoms of listeriosis for the next 70 days. Symptoms include high fever, stiff neck, severe headache, abdominal cramps, and diarrhea. Pregnant women may only have a mild illness similar to the flu, but listeriosis can cause miscarriage, premature labor, and stillbirth. If you do feel sick, see your doctor.
