Saffron Road, a packaged food brand owned by American Halal, has added two new flavors, Korean BBQ and Chipotle, to its Crunchy Chickpeas range.

The new varieties complement the company's existing flavors, including Wasabi, Falafel and Bombay Spice.

The Crunchy Chickpea snacks range is made using all-natural ingredients, organic chickpeas, and the products are gluten-free and Halal certified. They offer 5g of protein and 2.5g of fat.

The Korean BBQ Crunchy Chickpeas has sweet and spicy flavoring, and organic chickpeas with a Korean bulgogi marinade, while the Chipotle Crunchy Chickpeas offer Mexican flavor and a guilt-free snacking option, the company said.

The new flavors are available at Whole Foods Market's dry goods or snack segments and are priced at $4.49.

Saffron Road founder and CEO Adnan Durrani said, "As consumers palates become more sophisticated, we believe these rich, global flavors will appeal to a wide variety of natural food consumers.

"Our Crunchy Chickpea snacks offer people a nutritious snack while also fulfilling their need for culinary exploration."
