Supreme Cuisine of Missouri is recalling about 325,000 pounds of meat and poultry fat and lard products due to a processing deviation that can allow the growth of bacterial pathogens in the product. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this issue.

The duck, beef, and pork fat products were produced and packaged from June 1 2016 through May 8, 2017. These products have a one year shelf life. The USDA has attached the long list of products, along with case UPC numbers, package UPC numbers, and best by dates. The products have the establishment number “EST. 34595” or “P-34595” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These products were sold through the internet and retail locations nationwide.

If you purchased these products, do not eat them. Throw them away or take them back to the store where you purchased them for a refund.
