Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region, Andrei Razin: "According to operational data for September 11 in the agricultural Moscow region, the gross potato harvest amounted to 68,200 tons. This is 37% more than last year, when 49,800 tons were harvested. At this time, 2,630 hectares have already been cleared.”
 
The total acreage for potatoes in the region is 13,700 hectares, and the average yield is 34.8 tons/ha. Earlier, FruitNews reported that according to current data, on August 14 more than 6,000 tons of potatoes had been collected in the Moscow region.
