The recall of Harris Teeter Frozen Yogurt is for undeclared peanut, one of the major food allergens. The recalled product is Harris Teeter Low Fat Frozen Yogurt Cookies & Cream in 1.5 quart laminated cartons. The UPC number is 0 72036 98182 0, and all sell by dates up to 07/30/19 are recalled.
The ice cream was distributed to Harris Teeter stores located in Washington D.C., Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia between June 6, 2018 and September 23, 2018. A consumer comment, after the person found peanut butter cups in the product, prompted the recall.
The second recall is for Whole Foods Market 365 Everyday Value White Corn Tortilla Chips. That product may contain undeclared milk, also one of the major food allergens, that was not listed on the label.
This product was sold in Whole Foods Market and Whole Foods Market 365 stores nationwide and in Canada. The product is packaged in 20 ounce bags labeled “365 Everyday Value White Corn Tortilla Chips Salted-Party Size.” The UPC number on the product is 9948247145, and the best by dates are between January 24 and 25, 2019. A customer notified Whole Foods Market that the tortilla chip bag also contained other snack mix products.
If you bought either one of these products are are allergic to the respective allergens, don’t eat them. Throw them away or return them to the store where you purchased them for a refund.
