“We have had a presence in Asia through our channel market partners, but we thought we needed closer proximity to both support our partners and better meet our customers’ needs,” says Kelly Brannen, CEO of Niacet Corp. “With the opening of our Singapore office, we expect to see significant growth in the Asian market.”
Brannen said the company currently services the European market from its facilities in Tiel, the Netherlands. It services the Americas through its corporate headquarters in Niagara Falls, N.Y., US.
“Our growth globally has been strong and we expect that to continue as we promote new products like our industry-leading Provian NDV line, a clean label next generation antimicrobial for the meat industry,” notes Brannen. “We expect great results for Provian in Asia, which was a key factor in the decision to establish the Singapore office.”
Brannen noted that Clarissa Neo, a food industry veteran, was brought on board to run the Singapore office and oversee the Asian strategy. Neo has spent the last seven years as Business Manager at Brenntag Pte Ltd. and prior to that, was with Symrise Asia Pacific Pte Ltd.
“I am excited to be part of this milestone and lead our Singapore office, as I believe Niacet’s product offerings and reliability set us apart from other competitors in the Asian market,” says Neo. “My goal is to actively identify and accelerate key value propositions to our clients and channel partners on how Niacet can better meet their needs.”
