Based in Ireland, Green Isle Foods is the biggest producer of frozen foods including fish, pastry, vegetables, and potatoes.
The transaction includes the sale of Donegal Catch, a manufacturing site in Portumna, County Galway, as well as the Green Isle brand.
Netherlands-based Group of Butchers has acquired Hartmann for an undisclosed amount.
Hartmann produces patties, cutlets and chops in various weights and packages, for both high-end and price-conscious market segments in Germany.
Equistone Partners Europe acquired a majority stake in Group of Butchers in January 2017.
Chr Hansen has completed the acquisition of Österreichische Laberzeugung Hundsbichler for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisition involves customer-base, products, trademarks and production equipment of Hundsbichler.
Based in Denmark, Chr Hansen is a global bioscience company, while Hundsbichler is a dairy ingredients supplier based in Austria.
The transaction enables Chr Hansen to expand its presence in traditional and speciality cheeses markets and improve its enzyme production business.
Glanbia has agreed with KSF Holdings and HNS Intermediate to acquire SlimFast for $350m. The transaction will be funded by Glanbia through its available banking facilities.
