Core Tip: Overindulging on holiday flavors this season just got a reprieve with Ready Pac Foods Limited Edition Bistro® Smoked Turkey & Pomegranate Vinaigrette Bistro® salad.
Overindulging on holiday flavors this season just got a reprieve with Ready Pac Foods Limited Edition Bistro® Smoked Turkey & Pomegranate Vinaigrette Bistro® salad. Bonduelle Fresh Americas said it set out to make a salad that captures all the magic of a Thanksgiving meal but doesn’t weigh you down. The Bistro® Smoked Turkey & Pomegranate Vinaigrette salad contains smoked turkey breast, feta cheese and dried cranberries with fresh arugula and baby greens, dressed with a pomegranate-orange vinaigrette and topped with a cornbread crumble. According to the company, this salad is under 250 calories and delivers 9 grams of protein.

“The holidays are certainly a time to indulge, but we believe that indulgence can be balanced with healthier choices throughout the months ahead. According to the Calorie Control Council, Americans consume an average of 4,500 calories at Thanksgiving dinner alone, not to mention other gatherings throughout the holidays,” said Priscila Stanton, Vice President of Marketing for Bonduelle Fresh Americas. “Our chef crafted a delicious, satisfying option, packed with fresh veggies, to give consumers something healthier to enjoy, but still allow them to delight in the flavors of the season.”

Ready Pac Foods first introduced its Limited Edition Bistro® salad line-up in 2016 in an effort to provide consumers with seasonal ingredients and new varieties to try. Past Limited Edition Bistro® salads have included Pumpkin Spice, Roasted Corn with Pulled Pork & BBQ Drizzle, Green Goddess with Chicken & Herbed Avocado Dressing and Roasted Beets & Baby Greens.
