Saputo, Canada, launched JOYYA ultra-filtered milk that serves up to 16 grams of protein per 250-ml serving, and is said to offer 75% more protein and 25% less lactose (sugar) than regular milk.

JOYYA ultra-filtered milk contains no artificial flavors or colors and is made from 100% Canadian milk. It takes fresh Canadian milk and passes it through a series of specialized filters. This separates the milk components to concentrate the nutrients already found in milk, such as protein and calcium, while reducing the lactose (the naturally occurring sugar in milk).

When unopened and refrigerated, JOYYA ultra-filtered milk stays fresh for up to 120 days from the production date. Once opened, it can be enjoyed within 14 days.

JOYYA ultra-filtered milk is sold in a 1-liter PET ergonomic bottle in community grocers and independent specialty stores throughout Canada.
