On the first trading day after February 11, Guizhou Maotai (600519) rose by more than 4.71%, and its share price went up to 700 yuan. Yesterday, it recovered slightly, but it still stood above the 700 yuan. About 2/3 of the liquor stocks continued their 11-day upward momentum. Although liquor sector is still rising steadily after the festival, some suppliers are still facing inventory pressure. Industry insiders said that after the Spring Festival, liquor market will usher in at least two months of off-season.

Cai Xuefei, an expert in liquor market, said that Maotai's stock price, which weighed more than 700 yuan, was affected by the rise of the whole food sector. The post-festival growth of the whole food sector, including wine, was due to the positive impact of liquor as a newly needed product for people's livelihood, its huge potential and strong demand for the festival.

During the Spring Festival, Chinese food industry analyst Zhu Danpeng visited the market and found that the opening rate of Maotai Feitian was not high because the Spring Festival was mainly a gathering of family and friends, but as a gift, there was stock transfer, while Wuliangye and 1573 performed better. The main reason was that there was still a certain gap between prices and Maotai Feitian. Zhang Jianwei, general manager of Juntao Chain, said that during the Spring Festival, liquor sales volume was relatively stable. The retail price of Maotai Feitian was about 1900 yuan, and Wuliangye was about 1000 yuan.

For liquor market, Zhu Danpeng warned that the overall channel inventory this year is still on the high side. He said that since 2016, the channel has been pressing goods for nearly three years. Niu Enkun, general manager of Liangjian Consulting, disclosed that "there is a backlog in the stocks of dealers, but it is still basically within the scope of dealers'tolerance at present." Zhang Jianwei believes that after the Spring Festival, the liquor market may enter the off-season of about two months. Cai Xuefei also said that after the festival itself is the digestion period of Spring Festival sales, is a small off-season of sales.
