Experts from the "sober Russia" movement have found out which European countries rank first in alcohol consumption and deaths caused by drinking alcohol.
Estonia ranks first, with citizens consuming an average of 15.35 litres of alcohol a year, and after them Slovenia, Luxembourg, Denmark and Latvia.
Less alcohol are consumed in Greece (6.52 liters), Italy, Sweden and Malta.
Experts rank based on the average alcohol consumption of adults over the age of 15 in EU countries and the number of deaths caused by alcohol consumption. Data for each country comes from open sources.
