Sunshine Mills is recalling Evolve Puppy, Sportsman’s Pride Large Breed Puppy, and Triumph Chicken and Rice Dog Food for this problem. The recalled products are 14 pound Evolve Chicken & Rice Puppy Dry Dog Food with UPC number 0-73657-00862-0; 28 pound Evolve Chicken & Rice Puppy Dry Dog Food with UPC number 0-73657-00863-7; 40 pound Sportsman’s Pride Large Breed Puppy Dry Dog Food with UPC number 0-70155-10566-0; and 40 pound Sportsman’s Pride Large Breed Puppy Dry Dog Food with UPC number 0-70155-10564-0. Also recalled is 3.5 pound Triumph Chicken & Rice Recipe Dry Dog Food with UPC number 0-73657-00873-6; 16 pound Triumph Chicken & Rice Recipe Dry Dog Food with UPC number 0-73657-00874-3; and 30 pound Triumph Chicken & Rice Recipe Dry Dog Food with UPC number 0-73657-00875-0. All of these bags have a Best Buy Date Code of November 1, 2018 through November 1, 2019. They were distributed in the U.S. as well as in Japan, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Israel, Canada, and South Korea.

ANF Pet is recalling their Lamb and Rice Dry Dog Food for the same reason. The recalled products were sold in Puerto Rico. The recalled food is 3 kg ANF Lamb and Rice Dry Dog Food, with UPC number 9097231622 and BB NOV 23 2019; and 7.5 kg ANF Lamb and Rice Dry Dog Food with UPC number 9097203300 and BB NOV 20 2019.

Finally, ELM Pet Foods is recalling their Elm Chicken and Chickpea Recipe dog food. These products include 3 pound Elm Chicken and Chickpea Recipe with UPC number 0-70155-22507-8 and best by dates TD2 26 FEB 2019, TE1 30 APR 2019, TD1 5 SEP 2019, and TD2 5 SEP 2019. Also recalled is 28 pound ELM Chicken and Chickpea Recipe with UPC number 0-70155-22513-9 and best by dates TB3 6 APR 2019, TA1 2 JULY 2019, and TI1 2 JULY 2019. Finally, 40 pound ELM K9 Naturals Chicken Recipe with UPC number 0-70155-22522-9 and best by dates TB3 14 Sep 2019, TA2 22 Sep 2019 , and TB2 11 Oct 2019 is recalled. These lot codes were distributed in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland.

Consumers should stop feeding these foods to their pets. Symptoms of elevated levels of vitamin D in their pets included vomiting, loss of appetite, increased thirst, increased urination, excessive drooling, and weight loss. When consumed at very high levels, the kidneys may be harmed. If your dog is exhibiting these symptoms, see your veterinarian.
